Services for Chinese Medicine Practitioners

Inside Essential China is able to offer a unique service to practitioners of Chinese medicine who wish to spend some time in China either updating their clinical skills or visiting the home of Chinese medicine for the first time.

Dr Vivienne Williams, herself a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 25 years, and who has visited China over fifteen times, is able to arrange clinical training in a number of hospitals linked with Beijing University of Chinese medicine.

Vivienne was invited by Beijing University to teach Chinese medicine in English to the Chinese students during 2005. This gave her a great insight not only into the basic teaching and training of Chinese Medicine students in China but a first hand experience of many of the hospitals which are affiliated with Beijing University of Chinese medicine.

There are many famous professors working in hospitals like Dong Zhemen and Xu Wu hospitals and it is intended that these professors and their knowledge be available to practitioners of Chinese medicine from the rest of the world.

Having escorted Victoria University students to China to complete their internships many many times, Vivienne is able to give first hand knowledge of the typical experiences you are likely to have during your time in Beijing. To arrange your clinical training just contact us at info@insideessentialchina.com with your intended departure dates, how long you wish to spend in Beijing and ideally the departments you are interested in working in. The length of time is up to you, however, it is recommended that at least one month be the minimum, to allow for cultural immersion and feeling at ease in the Chinese hospital system.

Generally there is no fee involved in arranging your clinical update with Inside Essential China, and advice on visas, travel arrangement and the cultural experience are all included. However, Inside Essential China reserves the right to recover costs in arranging your clinical experience if there are any unforeseen large costs involved.
